This Privacy Policy explains how Staggs Family LLC, doing business as Carrot Top's Rentals & Recreation ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit www.carrottopsrentals.com, book a rental, contact us, or receive text messages from us.

Information you give us
- Booking details: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address or campground, rental dates, the units and add-ons you choose, discount codes, and any notes you add.
- Messages and inquiries: your name, email address, phone number, address, and the content of messages you send through our contact form, plus camper details you share through our camper management form.
- Text messaging consent: whether you agreed to receive text messages, and when.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as the amount paid.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting providers automatically record basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, for security and reliability. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How We Use Your Information
- To process, confirm, and manage your rentals, including delivery, setup, pickup, and deposit refunds.
- To calculate delivery distance and fees from the address you provide.
- To send booking confirmations, receipts, and service emails.
- To send text messages about your booking or inquiry, only if you have opted in.
- To respond to your questions and requests.
- To keep our records, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
Text Messaging
If you check the text messaging box on one of our forms, you agree to receive text messages from Carrot Top's Rentals & Recreation about your booking or inquiry. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. See our SMS Terms for details.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The sharing described below excludes this information.
How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for them to do so:
- Stripe, to process payments and refunds.
- GoHighLevel, our customer management and messaging platform, which stores contact records and sends our emails and text messages.
- Vercel and Cloudflare, which host our website and store our booking records.
- Mapping services (such as Mapbox), which receive the delivery address you enter so we can calculate driving distance.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a sale or transfer of our business.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep booking and payment records for as long as needed to provide our services and meet tax, accounting, and legal requirements. Messages and inquiries are kept for as long as they are useful for responding to you and serving you in the future. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to records we are required to keep.
Your Choices
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message to opt out.
- Email: booking and service emails are part of your rental; contact us if you want us to stop sending any other email.
- Access, correction, and deletion: email us to request a copy of your information, correct it, or have it deleted.
Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be posted on this page.
